Rabies is an infectious viral disease that affects all mammals and can be found around the world. Considered one of the most important zoonotic diseases, rabies generates more than 50,000 human deaths per year. At Biogénesis Bagó, we are committed to control, prevent and eliminate rabies by 2030, joining the WOHA/WHO End Rabies Now campaign.
Since 2012 we are members of the PAHO Revolving Fund, with more than 138 million doses of rabies vaccine delivered over 15 years, in more than 14 countries.

We are present on five continents and supply our products to more than 60 countries. Our manufacturing sites have an annual production capacity of 450 million doses of vaccines per year for the prevention of various diseases that affect animal health.
Our team of more than one thousand professionals have made this company a global reference in the prevention and control of foot-and-mouth disease and one of the main suppliers of canine and feline rabies vaccine, both for the Pan American Health Organization and for numerous health authorities in different countries.
